Bleu Cheese Pasta
1 package dried pasta
1/4 cup olive oil
Seasonings:
3 cloves minced garlic
Sauce:
6 ounces crumbled bleu cheese (Gorgonzola)
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup chopped basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package and drain.
Place empty pasta pot over medium heat. When hot, add the oil and seasonings. Saut for a few seconds.
Add the ingredients for the sauce and bring to a low boil.
When the sauce has reached a boil, return the pasta and combine until evenly mixed.
Serving suggestions: sprinkle pasta with 1/2 cup toasted and chopped walnuts
