Blueberry Ice Cream
3 cups blueberries
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 cup heavy or whipping cream
1 cup Half and Half cream
Combine berries, sugar and water in saucepan. Bring to boil; cook, stirring 5 minutes. In blender puree in batches until smooth. Stir in lemon juice, refrigerate until completely cold. Stir in creams. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturers directions. Makes 6 cups.
