Cornbread
1 cup cornmeal
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
Preheat oven to 425F.
Combine liquid ingredients and beat. Combine dry ingredients. Combine dry and liquid ingredients together and stir for 20 seconds.
Bake at 425F on middle oven rack for 25 minutes. Bread is done when toothpick comes out clean or internal temp reaches 220F.
